My name is Lee and I am the business owner and principal consultant of Utilities Broker Solutions. I have just over sixteen years experience working in sales for utilities providers – in both the domestic and business markets. Six of these years were spent helping businesses (and voluntary organisations / clubs) as a broker. I was fortunate enough to be accepted as a sub-agent for another local brokerage and despite its challenges, I have enjoyed every moment because I love meeting and helping new people. It is common knowledge that the Covid-19 pandemic still continues to affect the lives of almost everyone world-wide in so many different ways today and the cost of utilities in the UK especially, is a huge part of that. During the peak of the Energy crisis in 2021 & 2022, it became almost impossible for many business owners to secure new gas and electricity contracts. Indeed, a lot of businesses do not even know where to start (nor have the time to commit) at the best of times when it comes to their utilities and securing the best deals. In an often overwhelming and complex sector – this is where I come in. If you put your trust in me with these increasingly expensive overheads – my goal every time is to save you time, hassle and money whilst striving to offer you the best possible customer service at all times. By keeping in touch regularly, I was able to help many of my business clients navigate the energy crisis and secure deals as soon as viable options became available for them. Whilst energy prices in particular are currently still very high / have not returned to pre-pandemic levels and markets remain volatile – the situation has improved and the pressure has eased on us all to some degree. There are also now some more supplier options on offer again. Please do not just take my word for it about all of this though – take a look at the testimonials page.

Working hard to ease the burden of business utilities...
Whenever possible, I aim to meet with business owners in person. I feel that trust is earned easier this way (from both sides) and people feel more comfortable when they can discuss their needs and look at their options face to face. I offer a very much ‘boots on the ground’ service as a result and clearly prefer to work with businesses as local to me as possible. That said, distance is not an issue and telephone consultations / email exchanges are sometimes more desirable. Depending on how far - I still always like to try and meet in person at least once but it clearly also depends on the nature of the inquiry. Over the years I have found that most people like this approach because so many brokers are telephone-based only and the customers sometimes question the legitimacy of their organisations when they receive a ‘cold call…’
